The procedure of the blood test will take no longer than 15 minutes with the inclusion of completing the required documents beforehand. Additional time can be added for any questions you may have.

Yes, you will have to complete our Vita Fusion Medical Questionnaire. This is an important document which will include disclosure of any medical conditions an individual may have, as well as medications, specific health concerns, and also if you feel well enough to have the blood test taken that day.

Prior to your blood test, we can also perform blood pressure, heart rate and blood oxygen level readings at your request.

Results from the Complete Blood Analysis, Complete Vitamins Check and G6PD Deficiency Check will take 7-10 working days to arrive in your inbox.

All other blood test results will take 3-7 working days.

Results will be reviewed by a GMC registered Doctor, who will provide any relevant recommendations or referrals written in your report. This will be sent together with a full PDF report of your results to your provided email address.

If there is a problem with your sample, we may need to contact you to return for a repeat blood draw.

No downtime is required after a blood test. We advise that the dressing applied to the site of the blood draw is kept clean, dry and in place for 30 minutes. We also advise that you avoid working out directly afterwards, as this can cause visible bruising to appear around the cannulation site.

No, the test shouldn’t be painful. Of course, we are puncturing the skin with a needle, so it may be slightly uncomfortable. We do have the option of using a cold numbing spray, to make your experience as comfortable as possible.
